Message I've been testing everything under the hood trying to determine the cause of a rich idle condition. Last night I decided to send my nismo 740's out to be flow tested. I wanted to send them to WitchHunter Performance to be cleaned and flow tested but they are not accepting any more work for a few weeks at the moment.

Looked into a local place but at $35/injector I really didn't want to waste my time and money if there isn't anything wrong with my low mileage nismo 740's.

So I came up with a very DIY flow test setup. Tossed some plastic bottles under each injector, attatched ecu grounds to battery negative terminal and spun the CAS with my 12volt drill at full speed for about three minutes.

The results looked perfectly level to me but I know a nice narrow glass graduated cylinder would have allowed much better comparison. Obviously this doesn't say anything about the actual flow capability of the injectors...my main concern was that one or more may not be flowing as much as the others.

Too imprecise to be conclusive?
